I just reinstalled The Sims 3 after months of having it off my computer. Since shopping works differently in The Sims 3, I like using mods to add functionality such as shopping for clothes and selling things in player-owned shops. These are mods that affect the environment in some way. I actually like the Sims 3 hair textures, so I use the in-game hairs and I also own a ton of the store hairs so I have a large, matching selection. Check back soon! PortraitPanel, Selector & RelationshipPanel could be able to tell you where the problem lies.

ErrorTrap or Overwatch correct the issue in most cases.

Corrupt interaction menus can in most cases be fixed by moving the Sim out and back in.

Remove the mod and clear your cache files.

In those cases an occurrence of an error probably fried the whole social menu for the Sim.

In some cases, especially since Patch 1.21/1.22/GEN it’s not possible to interact with single Sims.

Autonomous Romantic Socials – TYAE – Same Sex (AutoRomanticSocials.package).

Autonomous WooHoo + Try for Baby (woohooOnly.package, woohoobaby.package).

Same Sex Pregnancy (SameSexPregnancy.package).

“Ask if Single” changed to Friendly interaction (AskIfSingleIsFriendly.package).

This problem is caused by incompatible Mods/Hacks that change anything about the social interactions (list not conclusive).

When I click on a Sim to interact with him there’s only the option mean or no options at all.
